that there're quite a no. of msians in my class.
just that, they're all scholars. sa has MANY MANY scholars.
from all over the world. and they're all friggingly clever.
played bingo with the class. you were supposed to get
others to sign boxes to make a line instead of just calling out numbers.
and i was 'forced' by this guy, alvin to sign this box:
alvin: rmb your sci tcher last yr? the one you had a crush on?
me: huh? got meh? anyways, i have 3 sci tchers, 2 females.
alvin: means you have 1 male tcher right. that's him lah!
me: eh? whatever. [scribbles my name in the box]
alvin: [to others] eh, those who need a sign on 'crush on a tcher's
box, come find wanying!
so, i ended up signing almost everyone's 'crush on a tcher' box.
and having a crush on mr cheong. omg!
[i also signed this box: willing to share who my greatest role model is.
obviously, it's fake cos i have no idea who is my role model.]
a while later, the tcher starts reading our bingo paper.
tcher: willing to share who her greatest role model is, wanying.
[whole class - turns to look at me. me - freak out]
me: eeerrr, urm, urm, my greatest role model, i think it's my bio tcher.
[mdm ho was the first one to come to my mind.]
cos she made me love bio.
[which is entirely fake, becos i loved bio even before i took the subject]
alvin: yeah! the tcher whom she has a crush on!
me: she's a woman!
alvin: omg. that makes it worse! [and the whole class starts laughing]
what a nice way to make an impression on a class
that i'm going to spend my nxt mnth or so in.
nowadays, i would always end lectures by scratching my head and trying
to grab what the lecturer was trying to explain 30 mins ago
where're the good old days when i actually understand
what the person infront is saying?
not that i'm stupid, well, maybe i am a little dumb, but look at these:
the 'sec sch' animal cell
the 'JC' animal cell
the 'sec sch' plant cell
the 'JC' plant cell
i actually feel cheated!i know there'll be differences in sec sch and JC,
but isnt the differences alittle TOO BIG? goodness.
and those HUMONGOUS scientific terms AKA ailen words.
microtubules? eukaryotic cells? cytoskeleton? endoplasmic reticulum?
goodness. someone pls kill me? :x
i can forsee that my JC life is going to be filled with 3 words.
